Your new puppy

Our puppies are 100% guaranteed to be in good health at the time of adoption. Your puppy will be vet checked, vaccinated and microchipped before leaving for his new home. He will also have been wormed regularly and will be covered by his mothers' flea and tick protection. You will receive his vet book and transfer papers when you pick him up. It is very common for small dogs to have retained puppy teeth. Your vet can remove these at the time of desexing.

Your puppy will have human interaction from a very early age. He will have commenced toilet training on 'piddle pads' from the time he starts walking. He will be well socialised around people, household noises and other dogs. Your puppy will be given lots of love and cuddles to get him used to being handled. He will be given a variety of toys and allowed to play with siblings and other litter mates to help him learn important social behavours. Our mums have 24 hour access to their puppies, we do not remove puppies from their mothers once they are weaned. Our mums wean their puppies at their own rate. Mums provide valuable social behaviour education to their puppies.

Teacup and tiny toy Poodle puppies usually go to their new homes at 10 weeks of age, once they are eating well on their own. You will need a set of doggy stairs to allow them to get on and off furniture safely. Allow your puppy time to bond with you and get used to his new surroundings. It is not advised to take him on outings for the first couple of weeks. Your puppy will be missing his mother and litter mates and will want your company and comfort. It is advised to put his bed on the floor, next to your bed at night, when it is time for bed.
