The birth of our puppies
Most of our puppies are born in our master bedroom. This allows us to stay with the labouring mums in quiet, comfortable surroundings for as long as it takes to birth their beautiful babies. If our mums are too small to birth naturally or are expecting only one puppy, they will give birth by an elective Caesarian for the safety of the mot
Most of our puppies are born in our master bedroom. This allows us to stay with the labouring mums in quiet, comfortable surroundings for as long as it takes to birth their beautiful babies. If our mums are too small to birth naturally or are expecting only one puppy, they will give birth by an elective Caesarian for the safety of the mother and her baby. The next day, mum and her babies are moved into a purpose built nursery area inside our climate controlled dog room.

The new born puppy area is situated alongside our family room, inside our home. The new born puppy area is equipped with a temperature controlled heat pad to maintain their body temperature for the first two weeks of their life. There is also a night light and 24 hour video surveilance so we can closely monitor mum and her new puppies. Ou

Our mums have unlimited access to their puppies, we do not separate them under any circumstances.

Once the puppies eyes have opened and they start walking around, they can venture out of their sleeping area and into the large, attached puppy play pens.
